Course descriptions and registration information will be available on March 14th, and parents and students will learn about band, chorus, and orchestra classes at Lineville. A selection must be made and the registration completed within two weeks.

Importance of School Attendance!

If your child will be absent due to an appointment, it is recommended that you attain an excuse from your provider for the date and time of the visit and return the excuse to the school office. This will ensure that the absence is noted as an excused absence or tardy. Appointment cards will NOT be accepted as an excuse.

Call to report your child's daily absence by calling the school's attendance line at 662-7990.

NEW!!  Report your child's absence online here:
 http://forestglenhssd.weebly.com/electronic-absence-form.html

Monitor your child’s tardies and absences through the district website: http://powerschool.hssd.k12.wi.us/public/

Have you changed phone numbers, email addresses, work information, etc? If so, the new year-round student information update process for parents is available online!
  1. Parent/Guardian will log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
  2. Once in the portal, choose the appropriate student (changes will need to be done for each child listed in the account).
  3. Select InfoSnap Year Round Update on the left side under navigation. (This will take a couple seconds to populate the information that is currently in PowerSchool.)
  4. Once the student information is populated, the parent/guardian is free to change the appropriate information such as primary mailing name, contact #, address, mother/father/guardian information, and emergency contact information.

EMERGENCY CLOSINGS AND DELAYS

Inclement weather may necessitate the closing or delay of schools. If schools are closed this will also include the cancellation of extracurricular activities and the events in the community pool unless otherwise announced. Please listen to local radio or television stations for school closings or delays. Such weather may also deter students from going outside during the school day. Please be sure that students are dressed appropriately for the weather. In addition to local radio and television, weather conditions can be checked on-line at www.hssd.k12.wi.us
